History of Meeting Topics & Locales
The Personal Assistant Network was founded in early 2008. Our first meeting drew about 12 and we congregated in the somewhat unglamorous upstairs loft area of Dino’s Pizza on Fillmore Street in San Francisco. Since that gathering, the venues and food have gone decidedly upmarket. (no disrespect to Dino’s)
A small sampling of the venues & topics we’ve enjoyed:
We have assembled at the beautiful Shears & Window showroom in the San Francisco Design Center for a presentation by leading interior designer Jane Antonacci, with an incredible selection of edibles provided by Ladies Who Lunch Catering & Events.
EpiCenter MedSpa hosted our group and we had a great talk from the always informative and personable Nicholas Paleologos regarding health insurance policies for individuals and small groups.
At ArtHaus, gallery owners Annette Schutz and James Bacchi welcomed us into their beautiful space for a top-secret talk from a VIP who must remain nameless. (Sorry, folks, this is an invitation-only group and we do cover some sensitive topics requiring sealed lips.)
Sherri Ferris, founder of Protocol Professionals, joined us for a meeting at Gast Architects (our favorite residential architectural firm), where we learned about international business and social etiquette.
Cindy Wilson and other team members from Wilsonwest, one of the top event-planning companies in the country, introduced us to the wonderful facilities and services of San Francisco Wine Center. Also on hand to round out a fabulous evening was chef Caroline Fey of The City Kitchen.
In addition to the “short list” above, we’ve had the privilege to enjoy a dance performance at ODC, appreciate an “After Dark” evening at Exploratorium, learn from fellow members at roundtable discussions and vendor showcases, and so much more!
